It was a beautiful crisp spring morning when the Junior Infants, accompanied by their 6th class buddies, headed out to look for signs of spring in our local community. We spotted buds on the trees, daffodils, crocuses and heard the birds singing in the spring sunshine. When we returned to the classroom we painted the beautiful crocuses that we saw on the Kerrymount Green, taking note of the colours, the short stem and the distinctive white stripe on the leaves.
A great morning was had by all and a big thanks to our brilliant buddies!
