Ms Sheehy's Second Class were exploring Place Value in Maths this week. We played lots of fun games to help us learn about tens and units. We took advantage of the lovely weather on Friday and went out into the yard for a Place Value Hunt. There were some surprise bootcamp cards hidden under some of the cones and we had to do push-ups, jumping jacks and other energising exercises in between recording the place value of numbers on our worksheets. We made sure to remember the running tips Mr Coleman has been teaching us in PE class too. It was a great way to spend a sunny October morning!
