St. Brigid’s BNS 3rd class reach Enda Carolan Cup final !
The 3rd class hurling team who reached the final of the Oatlands annual hurling tournament. The boys performed brilliantly in their two group games where they defeated Scoil San Treasa, Oatlands Primary School. They followed this up with a fantastic victory in the semi-final. In the final, the boys faced Hollypark BNS. This game had everything and the whole team were heroic. St. Brigid’s lead all the way through until the final minutes when Hollypark scored a crucial goal to narrowly take the title. The future is very bright for these young hurling stars and they will be a tough team to beat in the Cumann na mBunscol competitions over the next few years.
