Grecian Urns

Before the break, the boys in 6th Class were learning about Greece. In so doing, they discovered that Grecian Urns were not only wonderful vessels for storing food and drink but that they also doubled up as a canvas on which to record the news stories of the day.

With that in mind, the boys chose a theme or idea from contemporary current affairs and duly decorated their own Grecian Urns, to wonderful effect. See if you can decipher which news story they are trying to communicate on their urn.

The boys in class 6A have been busy learning about ecosystems and plant life during this term. I think it is fair to say the boys got very creative and designed a stunning array of bird feeders using plastic bottles and other materials from home.
