Dear Parents and students,
We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news with you all!
Today, Mr Flood successfully completed the abseiling challenge in support of My Canine Companion. He made it look easy as he descended the Hogan stand watched by a cheering crowd and with some pawsitive encouragement from Kai, our beloved school therapy dog in training. Kai was on hand to supervise (with a little help from his doggy pals!)
We’re happy to report that Kai continues to grow, both in size and in skill! He’s attending weekly training and is already top of his class, making great progress on his journey as St Brigid’s therapy dog.
Kai is very much looking forward to seeing all his friends again in St Brigid’s when the new academic year begins at the end of August.
In the meantime, we wish all our families a joyful and restful summer break. And if you happen to be out walking in Cabinteely or Kilbogget Park, keep an eye out as Kai loves to stretch his legs there!
