Bug Hunt!

Today in Ms. O'Neill's Senior Infants we began learning all about minibeasts. We learned that minibeasts are small animals that do not have a skeleton and that there are more minibeasts in the world than any other kind of animal! We went out to the yard with our equipment to hunt for minibeasts. We found lots of bugs such as woodlice, snails, flies, ants and bees! We worked in pairs to catch the minibeasts and put them into a container where we coud look at them closely through a magnifying glass. We then recorded what we found on our whiteboards to discuss with the rest of the class.

We had so much fun on our bug hunt and are so excited to learn more about minibeasts this week!
